  4. This set of merges corrects 2 problems in RBBS.
  5.  
  6. The merge lines labelled TO051101 correct the incorrect updating
  7. of the SYSOP's high message pointer when there were co-sysops in
  8. local mode ("COM0" mode). This problem also occasionally occurs
  9. with non-sysops, but always in local mode.
  10.  
  11. The merge lines labelled TO051102 permit anyone with an access level
  12. high enough to see the SYSOP menu to read all mail, whether public
  13. or private.

  15. The file SYSOP.MRG can be applied to RBBS 16.1A (release version) and
  16. RBBS 16.1B (BETA A). These mods have been running on my BBS since
  17. May 11, under BETA A, with no apparent problems.

  19. The file SYSOPF.MRG can be applied to RBBS 16.1B (BETA F). It apparently
  20. works correctly (I exercised it when I got BETA F up and running, but
  21. BETA F fell prey to the dread "String Space Corrupt during G.C." about
  22. 5 minutes after I reopened the phone lines. Use caution if you're running
  23. BETA F and this mod; for that matter, use caution if you're running BETA
  24. F without this mod. I'm back to BETA A with this mod until BASIC learns
  25. better sanitary engineering techniques. BETA B C D and E were either never
  26. implemented on my system or didn't last long enough for me to apply this
  27. mod, so you're on your own.

  29. These merges were created with Ken Goosens' BLED20. Use BLED20 to apply
  30. them to your code. Enjoy.
